Dr. Chad Orlich, DMD
Dr. Chad Orlich was born in Houston, Texas. He obtained his bachelors degree in Biological Sciences at The University of Washington in Seattle. While in Seattle he helped organize the first nationally recognized pre-dental club for the university. He earned his doctorate in dental medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Dr. Orlich’s National Board scores placed him in the top 4% of all dentists and earned him a spot in one of the most sought after periodontal programs in the country. Dr. Orlich dedicated the next three years of his life studying periodontics and dental implants. He was trained by some of the countries best periodontist and dental implant experts. Dr. Orlich’s expertise and clinical skill earned him the position of chief resident. He also served as a clinical adjunct teacher for dental students at Nova Southeastern University, and he has performed multiple lectures and seminars for both graduate and post graduate dental students. After his specialty training in periodontics and advanced dental implant placement, Dr. Orlich and his wife, Allison, returned to Texas to practice in the Austin area.
After working for two years at the Dental Fears Research Clinic at the University of Washington, Dr. Orlich learned the importance of dental psychology and how to manage fearful patients. After listening to his patients’ concerns about having to travel between multiple dental offices for specialty and surgical procedures, Dr. Orlich decided to build a practice that focuses instead on himself traveling between multiple dental offices in order to accommodate patients. This arrangement has allowed him to bring specialty care to patients in an environment in which they feel comfortable. Dr. Orlich plans to expand the mobility of dental specialists creating “Super Dental Practices” that can provide advanced dental treatment to patients in a single location.
While not working, Dr. Orlich and his wife are avid scuba divers and enjoy hiking with their Boxer Shelby, spending time outdoors, and listening to live music.
Dr Orlich sits on the board as an Advisor, for his knowledge and speciality in Periodontics. Dr Orlich was also involved with the review and analysis of the double-blind study on the effectiveness of Professional Outpatient Preventive Dentistry (POPD)
